One set of health data, two ways to use it

The app keeps up with everyday health — syncing data, capturing quick notes, and letting you ask questions. The web gives you room to go deeper — reviewing your data, exploring trends by condition, and making sense of your full health history. One account, thousands of standardized health indicators — interpreted consistently across app and web.

Overview

Why the app and web are built for different moments

Health data involves two very different kinds of actions. Recording happens in the moment and should take only seconds. Review happens later and often requires many records side by side. Trying to force both into one interface compromises both. That is why the app and web share the same data and interpretation rules, while each is designed for a different rhythm.

Principle 1

Record in the app, review on the web

The app supports voice input, quick notes, and the Today card, so logging an entry can take just a few seconds. The web provides full data tables, filters, and row-by-row editing, making it easier to review and correct larger sets of data.

Principle 2

One standard across app and web

The same indicators and thresholds apply everywhere. A body-fat reading highlighted in gold in the app appears the same way on the web — never out of range in one place and normal in another.

Principle 3

Permissions follow the account, not the device

Care Circle access is managed at the account level. Revoke a member's access in the app, and the change takes effect on the web immediately. Access permissions always stay consistent across app and web.

Daily Log: one card a day, six metrics, one line of notes

Sleep, steps, resting heart rate, respiratory rate, blood oxygen, HRV — the same six every day, one card to see them all. Past days show the delta against the day before, no mental math needed. Right under today's card is the input box: symptoms, meals, anything — type it or hold to speak.

On the App
  • Opens as the home screen; sync status sits at the top, so you know at a glance whether the data is fresh
  • Today's card carries quick notes: voice input, photos, symptoms and meals all land on the day
  • Past cards show day-over-day deltas (sleep −3h 12m, steps +3,074, HRV −20.6 ms)
On the Web
  • The same six metrics laid out as a day-by-day timeline — six or seven days per screen, made for spotting patterns
  • Each day expands into its related records; if there are none, it says so explicitly — “nothing notable recorded”
  • Lives as one tab of the Profile, alongside basics, reports, and devices

Health Management: ready-made dashboards, plus the metrics that matter to you

Theta provides ready-made dashboards for conditions and health goals such as diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, weight management, osteoporosis, and menstrual health. Each comes with relevant metrics, thresholds, and interpretation logic built in. You can also create your own dashboards — for example, a weight-loss dashboard with BMI, weight, and body fat. Either way, the experience stays focused: one card, three key metrics, with anything off target highlighted in gold.

On the App
  • Every value carries its date and source (2026-07-21 / Device), so a stale number stands out immediately
  • Connected device and record counts stay pinned at the top; missing data shows “--” instead of a blank
  • Custom trackers and system conditions sit in parallel sections, both directly addable
On the Web
  • Cards open into condition detail: full trends, target attainment, staging rationale
  • When data falls short, it says what to add before a conclusion is possible — no DXA report, no T-score staging
  • Indicator groups and thresholds are tuned on this surface; changes take effect on both at once

Health Q&A: answers grounded in your full record, charts attached inline

Ask in everyday words — “my stomach's been hurting and I'm sleeping badly.” The system searches your records, reads your profile, analyzes the relevant time window, then answers — with charts like sleep architecture or blood-oxygen trends generated right inside the reply.

On the App
  • Ask by voice, even mid-walk; tap a chart to expand it full-screen in landscape
  • Switch the answering model and ask the same question again
  • Past sessions and new chats tuck into the title bar, leaving the screen to the content
On the Web
  • The reasoning process is visible: searching records, reading the profile, analyzing data — each step unfolds and gets marked done
  • Multi-model answers side by side; adopt the conclusion you pick as context and keep probing
  • Each conversation is labeled with its member, so caring for several people never crosses files; charts are downloadable

Personal Profile: the denominator of every interpretation

Me is the App's personal foundation, answering two questions: who you are, and where your data comes from. “Who you are” is a health profile — age, sex, blood type, ethnicity, plus chronic conditions, family history, allergies, lifestyle habits, and current medications — each one shaping reference ranges and alert criteria. “Where your data comes from” is the data-source hub — devices, patient portals, self-reported intake — with connection status gathered in one place. The fuller the profile and the sources, the closer every interpretation elsewhere gets to you specifically.

On the App
  • The top card is a profile completeness score, always showing what's still missing
  • Data-source hub: connected devices, EHR patient portals, self-reported intake — connection status all in one view
  • Health profile managed card by card: chronic conditions, family history, allergies, lifestyle, medications — each editable
On the Web
  • Basics and every data source gathered under Profile, in five tabs: Basics, Reports, Devices, Health History, Activity
  • The health profile is managed card by card here too: basics, body measurements, health history
  • Device linking, report-parse confirmation, and original-file review all happen here — no page-hopping

Care Circle: the two directions authorized separately

Health-data sharing is rarely symmetric. A child watching a parent's data shouldn't have to hand over their own. So “what I share with them” and “what they share with me” are two independent permissions — set separately, revoked separately. Counts of shared devices, institutions, medications, files, and conditions sit right on the member card, no tapping in to guess.

On the App
  • The entry sits at the top of the Me page, next to settings; day-to-day viewing and accepting invites happen on the phone
  • Members are grouped as Family & Trusted / Healthcare Professionals, the two relationships managed apart
  • Member lists and two-way permission scopes share one source with the Web; changes sync in real time
On the Web
  • A standalone nav item; member cards show both directions of authorization side by side
  • Sent invites show pending status; incoming requests gather in a queue to approve or decline one by one
  • When managing on a family member's behalf, switching identities is smoother on this surface

Indicator Layer: the normalization step, opened up only on the Web

Every module above can draw conclusions because of one step in the middle: translating raw fields into standard indicators — hourlyTotalSteps becomes Hourly Steps, units unified, reference ranges attached. That step is no black box: raw name, raw value, standard name, standard value, time, and source lie in one table, inspectable and correctable row by row.

It lives on the Web only, because this is batch-verification work — it needs filtering, sorting, and multi-row edits. The App doesn't duplicate the interface; what you see on the phone is the already-normalized result.

Watched Indicators
  • Star any indicator to pin it as a card: current value, trend line, target range, out-of-range flag
  • This set also determines what the App-side cards display
Raw Indicator Table
  • Filter by status, source, confidence, review state, mapping state, range state, and time window
  • Mappings are correctable: per-user overrides sit on top of global defaults
  • Data that devices and records don’t cover can be entered manually, weighed equally in interpretation
